Houston, TX – A 49-year-old man was killed Sunday evening in a motorcycle accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 8:10 p.m., June 22, in the 16500 block of Imperial Valley Drive.
Police said a gray Toyota Tacoma was traveling southbound when it ran a red light and hit the man who was riding his gray Harley-Davidson FLT motorcycle.
The impact ejected the man from the motorcycle and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The Tacoma veered off the roadway onto a curb under the overpass and hit a concrete barrier. The driver was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
The police are investigating the accident.
