Man Killed, Child Injured in 2-Car Accident on FM 3405 in Williamson County

45-Year-Old Georgetown Man Killed, Child Hospitalized after Williamson County Crash on FM 3405 near Highway 183
Williamson County, Texas (May 31, 2019) – A man was killed and a child was injured Thursday morning in a two-car crash in Williamson County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The deadly accident happened at about 11:43 a.m. Thursday, May 30 on FM 3405 near the intersection of U.S. Highway 183.
According to the DPS, a 2019 Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on FM 3405 on the wrong side of the road when it collided with a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado that was heading westbound.
A 45-year-old Georgetown man, who was the driver of the Hyundai, was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
One of the three juvenile passengers in the Silverado was transported to Seton Hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the Silverado, a 39-year-old Georgetown woman, was hurt in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
