The rider was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment

Arlington, TX. – An 18-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on Monday afternoon in Arlington.
According to Arlington police, the 3 p.m. collision happened at South Cooper Street and Inwood Drive.
According to a preliminary investigation, the man was riding a motorcycle southbound on Cooper Street when he crashed into the back of a Dodge Ram that was turning left from the northbound lanes.
The man was ejected from the bike and was found unresponsive by officers who responded to the incident.
The man was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The female driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
