The fatal accident happened around 2:00 a.m., May 30, in the 1001 block of Brittmoore Road at the intersection of Old Katy Road.

Houston, TX – A 23-year-old man was killed early Friday morning in a car accident in Houston, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 2:00 a.m., May 30, in the 1001 block of Brittmoore Road at the intersection of Old Katy Road.
Police said a black Dodge Charger was traveling northbound and was stationary at a stop sign at the intersection. A northbound silver Toyota Corolla failed to control its speed and hit the Dodge, pushing it into the intersection.
The Charger driver was standing outside the vehicle when he was struck by a silver Chevrolet Captiva that was traveling westbound on Old Katy Road. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
The Corolla driver, Meagan Elizabeth Jones, 22, was determined to be impaired and was charged with driving while intoxicated.
The police are investigating the accident.
