Seabrook, TX – A bicycle rider was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Seabrook on Wednesday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The incident took place on East Meyer Avenue and State Highway 146 at about 12:30 p.m. on April 16.

According to the report, a Seabrook EMS ambulance was heading eastbound on East Meyer on a green light when it collided with an electric bicycle driven southbound on the SH 146 northbound frontage road.

The man riding the bicycle reportedly failed to stop for a red light at the intersection.

The bicyclist was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

No other injuries were reported.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
