Denton, TX – An adult male driver was killed after his vehicle collided with another in Denton early Thursday morning, Denton police said in a report.
At about 6:44 a.m. on September 26, Denton police and fire departments were dispatched to a serious traffic collision on westbound West University Drive at Western Boulevard.
Dento police said a preliminary investigation indicates a sedan was traveling westbound on West University Drive. The sedan driver turned south onto Western Boulevard when it collided with a pickup truck.

The pickup truck was heading eastbound on West University Drive when the collision occured.
The driver of the sedan, identified only as an adult male, was taken to a local hospital where he was declared deceased. No one else was hurt in the incident.
The pickup truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
No additional information was provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
