Houston, TX – A man was hit and killed by a train Tuesday evening in southeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The deadly accident happened just before 9:30 p.m., June 3, in the 4400 block of Galveston Road.
Police said the man was hit and dragged about 300 feet by a train. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Residents told officers that the man was often seen hanging out around or sitting on the train tracks.
No additional information was available.
The police are investigating the accident.
