Odessa, TX – One person was killed Saturday night in a two-vehicle collision in Odessa, according to the Odessa Police Department.
The fatal collision happened on August 23 at the intersection of Dixie and Pool Road.
Police said 44-year-old Marcus Gentry, of Stephenville, was driving a red Dodge 3500 westbound on Pool Road when he ran a stop sign and was hit by a gray Jeep that was traveling northbound on Dixie.
The impact pushed the Dodge off the roadway, where it rolled over.
Gentry was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Dodge was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The collision remains under investigation.
