Lubbock, TX – One person was killed and another was seriously injured early Saturday morning in a traffic collision in West Lubbock, according to the police.
The fatal collision happened around 3:32 a.m. on July 19 at the intersection of 82nd Street and Upland Avenue.
Police said Michael Glover, 24, was riding a motorcycle eastbound on 82nd Street when he collided with a car that was traveling southbound on Upland Avenue.
Glover was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car driver, Robert Mitchell, 59, was taken to Covenant Medical Center with serious injuries.
Speed was a factor in the collision.
The police are investigating the accident.
