Copperas Cove, TX – A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Copperas Cove on Monday afternoon, according to the Copperas Cove Police Department.
The wreck took place at about 12:32 p.m. on April 21, in the 1800 block of North FM 116.
The police reported that an SUV traveling north failed to yield while making a left turn into a parking lot and collided with a motorcyclist.
Emergency crews performed life-saving measures on the rider before rushing him to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.
The rider, a 38-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
The accident is under investigation.
