Myrna Gonzalez Killed in McAllen Hit-and-Run Crash at Ware Road and Monte Cristo Road

McAllen, Texas – A person was killed Saturday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in McAllen, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 6:34 p.m., January 13, at the intersection of Ware Road and Monte Cristo Road.

Police said Myrna Patricia Gonzalez, 57, was driving southbound on Ware Road and turned onto eastbound Monte Cristo Road.  

Julian Humberto Hernandez, 42, Veronica Joselin Mariano Gutierrez, 20, and Gerardo Mariano Gutierrez, 53, were traveling westbound on Monte Cristo Road when they struck Gonzalez’s car and fled the scene on foot.

Gonzalez was killed in the crash.

Hernandez is wanted for accident involving personal injury/death. The Gutierrez’s are both wanted for failure to report a felony.

All suspects have a last known address in Mission and were last seen in a dark, older model single cab Ford F150.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts or has information about the crime is asked to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at 956-687-8477.
