Midland, TX – A police officer was injured Wednesday morning in a rollover accident in Midland, according to the authorities.
The accident happened on August 13 about 4.5 miles north of the intersection of North Highway 349 and Craddick Highway.
Authorities said a Midland Police Department officer was in a police vehicle when they collided with an 18-wheeler.
The force of the impact caused the police vehicle to overturn.
The officer was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital in unknown condition.
No further details were provided.
The Texas DPS is investigating the accident.
