Police Officer Seriously Injured in Fort Worth Motorcycle Crash at Camp Bowie and Bigham Boulevard 

Fort Worth, Texas (April 30, 2020) – A Fort Worth police officer was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Thursday morning in Fort Worth, according to police.

The crash occurred around 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Camp Bowie and Bigham Boulevard.

Officials said the officer who works in the traffic division, was riding a police motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle at the intersection.

The officer, who is a 15-year veteran of the Fort Worth Police Department, was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. 

The officer has worked in the traffic unit for 10 of the 15 years.

The other driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
