Ector County, TX – A man was killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in Ector County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision took place on June 6, on Loop 338 at U.S. Highway 385.
DPS said Raymund Gabriel Rodriguez, 45, of Odessa, was driving a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox eastbound when he veered into the westbound lanes and collided with a 2016 Freightliner Cascade pulling a trailer.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi-truck driver was uninjured in the accident.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
