Bryan, TX- Two people were killed in a collision that took place in Bryan early Sunday morning, according to the Bryan Police Department.
The collision occurred at about 1:55 a.m. January 12, in the 6800 block of John Sharp Parkway.
The BPD reported that a 2017 Honda Accord is believed to have been traveling southbound on the northbound side of the John Sharp Parkway when it collided head-on with an oncoming 2019 Honda Civic.
The drivers of both vehicles died in the accident while a passenger in the Civic was hospitalized with critical injuries.
The driver of the Civic was identified as Nikolas Trapp, 19, while the operator of the Accord was identified as Rebecca Franklin, 29.
The Bryan Police Department is investigating the accident.

Bryan, TX – Two people are dead following a two-vehicle traffic collision near an intersection in Bryan Sunday morning, according to the Bryan Police Department.
The accident happened on January 12 near the intersection of West Villa Maria Road and State Highway 47 (also known as John Sharp Parkway).
Details regarding the incident are limited at this time, but authorities confirmed that two people died in the incident.
The identities of the victims have not been released pending next of kin notification.
