1 Injured in Lufkin Crash at Highway 69 and King’s Row Drive
Lufkin, TX. - A woman was injured in a car accident on Saturday afternoon in Lufkin.
According to the Lufkin Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and King’s Row Drive at around 12:46 p.m.
A 2013 Chevrolet Silverado driven by the woman stopped at the intersection and attempted to make a left turn when it was struck by a 2010 Chevrolet Impala traveling southbound.
Police believe the 2013 Chevrolet failed to yield the right of way at the private drive, pulling into the path of the 2010 Chevrolet.
The woman was taken to Woodland Heights Medical Center with minor injuries.
The occupants of the Chevy Impala were unhurt.
More details on the collision were not available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
