1 Killed in Abilene Motorcycle Crash at South 9th Street and Barrow Street
Abilene, TX. - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Tuesday afternoon in Abilene.
The fatal collision occurred at the intersection of South 9th Street and Barrow Street at around 2 p.m., according to the Abilene Police Department.
A woman was driving a Nissan Murano westbound on South 9th Street when she stopped at the stop sign and was turning onto Barrow Street when she collided with a motorcyclist traveling northbound on Barrow Street.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
