1 Killed in Bridge City Crash at State Highway 87 and State Highway 62
Bridge City, TX. - A 67-year-old man was killed in a car on Thursday morning in Bridge City.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at the intersection of State Highway 87 and State Highway 62 around 5:30 a.m.
A 2020 Ford pickup truck was traveling southbound when it drove through the intersection, entered a private driveway and crashed into a parked 2019 Dodge Caravan.
The impact of the collision pushed the Dodge into a home.
Paramedics transported the driver of the Dodge to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
A 61-year-old woman who was in the residence sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Additional details concerning the collision was not provided.
