1 Killed in Garza County Crash at U.S. Highway 84 and County Road 130

Garza County, TX. – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in Garza County.

According to the Garza County Sheriff's Office, the fatal collision happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 84 and County Road 130 at around 1 p.m.

A man was driving a passenger car southeast on U.S. 84 and was attempting to turn east onto County Road 130 when he pulled out in front of a Chevy Suburban. Both vehicles collided.

The driver of the passenger car was transported to UMC, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the Chevy Suburban and his three passengers were unhurt.

More details concerning the collision were not provided.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
