1 Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on East Loop 410 near Tex-Con Rd
San Antonio, TX. - A 60-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday night in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident occurred in the 500 block of the East Loop 410 access road near Tex-Con Road at around 9:30 p.m.
The man was walking along the access road when he was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was found lying with injuries and emergency aid was administered.
The 60-year-old man was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
It remains unclear whether drugs or speed were a factor in the accident.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
