2 Injured in San Angelo Crash at Sherwood Way and West Houston Harte Expressway
San Angelo, TX. - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday morning in San Angelo.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, the accident happened in the 5100 block of Sherwood Way near West Houston Harte Expressway at around 11:30 a.m.
A white GMC pickup truck reportedly ran a red light and struck a silver Hyundai Sonata that was attempting to turn onto Sherwood Way.
The impact sent the truck off the roadway where it hit a construction sign.
Paramedics transported two people, one from each vehicle, to Shannon Medical Center for treatment.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
