2 Injured in San Angelo Crash at South Oakes Street and East Beauregard Avenue
San Angelo, TX. - Two people were injured in a collision involving a driver who disregarded a red light on Monday morning in San Angelo.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of South Oakes Street and East Beauregard Avenue at around 9 a.m.
A blue Chevrolet was traveling eastbound on Beauregard Avenue when the driver reportedly disregarded a red light and struck a red Hyundai Tucson traveling northbound on Oakes Street.
The female driver of the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Hyundai was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The Hyundai had two children riding in the back seat, and their condition was not disclosed.
Further details concerning the collision were not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
