3 Injured in Laredo Car Crash at Houston Street and San Jorge Avenue

Laredo, TX. - Three people were injured in a collision involving a vehicle that disregarded a stop sign on Sunday in Laredo.

According to the Laredo Police Department, the crash occurred at Houston Street and San Jorge Avenue.

A Chevrolet Traverse with a single occupant reportedly disregarded a stop sign and struck a Dodge Challenger with two occupants. The Traverse split in half during the crash.

Three people sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Neither of the two drivers showed signs of impairment. The driver of the Traverse was cited in connection with the crash.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.

Authorities are investigating the accident.
