Glen Archer Killed in El Paso Car Accident at Montwood Drive and Joe Battle
El Paso, TX. - 68-year-old Glen Archer has been identified as the man who died weeks after a high-speed crash in El Paso.
The collision happened on July 14 in the 12200 block of Montwood Drive near Joe Battle Boulevard, according to the El Paso Police Department.
Archer was driving a 2019 Ford Ranger northbound on Joe Battle when he attempted to turn right onto Montwood at a high rate of speed.
The man failed to negotiate a bend and struck a median and a 2019 Honda Ridgeline that was traveling eastbound on Montwood.
A Chevy Silverado, Jeep Wrangler, and Honda Ridgeline that had stopped at the intersection were struck by the two vehicles.
Archer was taken to the hospital, where he died on Monday, August 25.
Five people were injured and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
