Halee Williams Killed in Head-On Collision on US 62 near County Road 670 in Terry County
Terry County, TX. - An SUV driver was killed in a fiery head-on collision on Saturday morning in Terry County.
According to the Terry County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened on US 62 near County Road 670 at around 3:30 a.m.
Halee Williams, 20, was driving a 2019 Chevy Trax SUV northeast in the southwest-bound lanes of US 62 when she collided head-on with a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Rodrigo Lopez ,38.
The SUV burst into flames after the collision.
Halee Williams, a resident of Brownfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck sustained serious injuries and was taken to UMC.
A passenger of the pickup truck, 32-year-old Breanna Cobbs, was taken to UMC with minor injuries.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
