Kenneth McCoy Killed in Upshur County Pedestrian Accident on FM 1002 near FM 852
Upshur County, TX. - 36-year-old Kenneth McCoy died after being struck by a vehicle last week Wednesday in Upshur County.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred on FM 1002 near FM 852 at around 2:52 a.m. on August 19, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
McCoy was walking southbound on FM 1002 on the northbound side of the roadway when he was struck by a northbound BMW driven by 30-year-old Lauren Martin.
McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Upshur County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
