Kichuana Brown Injured in Lufkin Crash at Highway 69 and King’s Row Drive
Lufkin, TX. - Kichuana Brown, 25, was injured in a car accident on Saturday afternoon in Lufkin.
According to the Lufkin Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and King’s Row Drive at around 12:46 p.m.
Kichuana Brown was behind the wheel of a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection when she collided with a 2010 Chevrolet Impala traveling southbound.
Police believe the 2013 Chevrolet failed to yield the right of way at the private drive, pulling into the path of the 2010 Chevrolet.
Brown was taken to Woodland Heights Medical Center with minor injuries.
The occupants of the Chevy Impala were unhurt.
More details on the collision were not available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
