Makynna Tumlinson Killed in Sherman Crash on SH-11 near McGraw Lane

Sherman, TX. – An 18-year-old girl was killed in a rear-end crash in Sherman on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 3:44 p.m. on the northbound lanes of SH-11 near McGraw Lane.

18-year-old Makynna Tumlinson was driving a Chevrolet Cruz when she rear-ended a truck.

Tumlinson was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

Texas DPS is investigating the accident.
