Ruben Torrones Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Aldine Westfield Road
Houston, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night in Houston.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the 12400 block of Aldine Westfield Road.
A red Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling north on Aldine Westfield Road and struck Ruben Torrones, who was walking in the road.
Torrones landed in the adjacent grassy area and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Tahoe remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details on the accident were not available.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
