Ricardo, a resident of Nuevo Laredo, was pronounced dead at the scene

Laredo, TX. – A 71-year-old by Ricardo Garza Iruegas was killed in a head-on collision on Wednesday afternoon in Laredo.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened on State Highway 59 near mile marker 812 at around 5 p.m.
A 2018 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound on State Highway 59 when it drifted into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an oncoming 2014 Nissan Sentra driven by Ricardo
Ricardo, a resident of Nuevo Laredo, was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
