Robert Martin killed in multi-vehicle collision on I-35 at the Farm to Market 2484 in Salado

Salado, TX. – 24-year-old Robert Martin was killed in a car accident that happened early Sunday morning in Salado.
According to the Bell County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 3:25 a.m. on Interstate 35 at the Farm to Market 2484 overpass.
Martin was driving a 2020 Toyota RAV passenger car northbound on Interstate 35 when he struck a deer, and his vehicle became disabled in the middle of the lane.
A short time later, a 2025 delivery truck was traveling northbound when it crashed into the disabled car, sending it into the southbound lane where it was hit by a southbound 2015 GMC SUV.
Martin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two drivers were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
