Authorities said Samuel Majors was crossing the street in a non-designated crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle.

Waco, TX — The Waco Police Department is investigating an accident that claimed the life of a 64-year-old male pedestrian near a Waco intersection early Wednesday morning
The police said the deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 6:25 a.m. on April 2 near 7th Street and Jack Kultgen Expressway.

The Waco Police Department said the man, identified as Samuel James Majors, was crossing the street in a non-designated crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle.
Samuel Majors was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
No additional details were provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
