The Summer Creek Middle School student was hit by a vehicle at the intersection

Fort Worth, TX. – A middle school student was injured after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Fort Worth on Tuesday.
According to a report by the Fort Worth Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of McPherson Boulevard and Summer Creek Drive at around 4:30 p.m.
The Summer Creek Middle School student was hit by a vehicle at the intersection within the Crowley Independent School District
The teen was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
