HPD said a white Kenwood tractor-trailer truck was traveling eastbound on East Mount Houston Road when it struck a male pedestrian.

Houston, TX. – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Houston on Tuesday evening, according to the Houston Fire Department.
The accident was reported at about 6:25 p.m. December 17, in the 6500 block of East Mount Houston Road.
According to the report, a white Kenwood tractor-trailer truck was traveling eastbound on East Mount Houston Road when it struck a male pedestrian.
The victim, whose name was not released, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck left the scene after the accident but later returned and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
