Stephen Lugo killed in a collision on State Highway 78 in Wylie

Wylie, TX. – A man was killed in a car accident on Saturday evening in Wylie.
According to the Wylie Police Department, the accident happened around 4:39 p.m. on the 2500 block of State Highway 78.
Stephen Lugo was driving a black Hyundai Genesis northbound when he drifted into the southbound lanes and struck an oncoming Chevrolet Colorado.
The impact caused the Chevrolet to overturn. The Hyundai also hit a southbound Toyota Corolla, causing it to slide into a ditch.
Lugo, a resident of Garland, Texas, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
