El Paso, TX – A man was killed Monday night in a car accident in northeast El Paso, according to the police.
The fatal collision occurred around 5:35 p.m. on January 26 in the 13158 block of Martin Luther King near Stan Roberts.
Police said a 2016 Hyundai Tucson and a 2020 Ford F-350 were traveling northbound when the Hyundai tried to turn right onto Stan Roberts on a left-turn-only lane.
The Hyundai was then struck by the Ford.
The Hyundai driver, 78-year-old William Beschle of Chaparral, New Mexico, was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died.
Beschle’s improper right-hand turn was a factor in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
