Trantham was driving the Ford Maverick and was pronounced dead at the scene

Ector County, TX. – 76-year-old William Jackson Trantham has been identified as the man who died in a car accident on Thursday night in Ector County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision happened around 11:15 P.M. at the intersection of the IH-20 North Service Road and Moss Avenue.
19-year-old Jesuse Joe Rodriguez was driving a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on the north service road of IH-20 when he reportedly disregarded a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a 2025 Ford Maverick traveling northbound on Moss Avenue.
Trantham was driving the Ford Maverick and was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
