The fatal accident happened around 6:55 p.m. on September 24 in the 1400 block of South Voss Road.

Houston, TX – A woman was killed Wednesday evening in a two-car accident in Houston, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 6:55 p.m. on September 24 in the 1400 block of South Voss Road.
Police said a black Land Rover SUV was traveling southbound when it attempted to turn left into a private drive and collided with a northbound red Hyundai Accent.
The force of the impact pushed the Hyundai off the roadway, where it struck a tree.
The passenger in the Hyundai, a 76-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Her name has not been released.
The Land Rover driver remained at the scene, showed no signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
