Yoana Fernandez killed in multi-car accident at S. IH-35 SVRD NB and E. Ben White Blvd in Austin
Austin, TX. – A driver who was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision last week in Austin has died.
According to the police, the accident happened around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of S. IH-35 SVRD NB and E. Ben White Blvd.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
Yoana Fernandez, who was driving one of the cars, was taken to the hospital, where she died on Tuesday, February 25.
Another driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
A third vehicle did not stop at the scene, and the driver was yet to be located.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
