Tyler, TX – One person is dead and another is hospitalized after two vehicles collided on State Highway 31 in Tyler on Friday afternoon, according to Tyler Police Department.
The deadly accident occurred on Chandler Highway near Bellwood Road, near the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport at about 3 p.m. on Friday, March 28.
Authorities said two vehicles collided and both drivers were injured.
The two patients were transported to the hospital where one of them was pronounced dead.
The name of the deceased driver has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation and no additional information is available at this time.
