Man Killed, 3 Arrested after Arlington Car Collision on I-20 near Bowen Road

Arlington, TX. – One person was killed and three men were arrested after a suspected DWI collision in Arlington on Saturday evening, according to the Arlington Police Department.
The wreck happened on I-20 near Bowen Road shortly after 7:35 p.m. on March 22.
A pickup truck traveling eastbound on I-20 reportedly swerved and slammed into a car that was stopped along the inside shoulder of I-20.
The force of the collision caused the car to strike the concrete wall and burst into flames.
A man inside the car, only identified as a 22-year-old, died in the incident.
Three men inside the pickup fled the scene after the accident but were later located.
The driver, Cesar Ramirez Castro, 27, was booked into the Arlington City Jail on charges of collision with death and intoxication manslaughter.
The passengers in the pickup, Castro Zammarron, 24, and Marcelino Ramirez-Ramirez, 30, were both arrested and booked on charges of public intoxication.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
