A black SUV was traveling east in the westbound lanes and collided head-on with another vehicle

Houston, TX. – One person was killed in a collision involving a wrong-way driver on Tuesday evening in Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the accident happened around 5 p.m. on the South Loop near Stella Link Road.
A black SUV was traveling east in the westbound lanes and collided head-on with another vehicle. A third vehicle was also involved in the accident.
The driver of the black SUV was killed in the accident.
A woman and two small children in the second car were injured in the accident and were taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment.
A woman in the third vehicle was injured and was taken to Ben Taub hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
