Two Injured in San Antonio Car Crash on Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (November 30, 2019) – Two people were injured early Saturday morning in a suspected DUI crash in San Antonio, a local news source reported.

The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on Loop 410.

Police said an officer had responded to help after an SUV was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Loop 410.

The officer pulled his patrol unit to the side of the road behind the SUV. A while later, another car hit the patrol unit and pushed it for about 20 feet.

Two people in that car, a father in his 40s and his son in his 20s, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The father is facing a DWI charge.

The officer was not in the patrol car at the time of the crash and was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
