Taylor County, TX – Two people were injured in a collision involving a big rig near Caps in Taylor County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident took place in the 7400 block of Highway 277 on Wednesday, January 22.
According to DPS, a semi-truck was heading north on Highway 277 when it stopped to turn left into Petrosmith and was rear-ended by a car.
A passenger in the car was extricated by View Volunteer Fire Department and was transported by Taylor County EMS with serious injuries.
The driver of the car was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the collision.
