Houston, TX – Two men, ages, 21, were killed and a woman injured in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Houston.
The grisly traffic collision occurred in the 4200 block of East Crosstimbers Street at around 1:15 a.m. on February 23, according to the Houston Police Department.
Reportedly, a female driver of a white Ford EC1 van was traveling eastbound on Crosstimbers Street when she struck a black Chevrolet Tahoe positioned horizontally across the eastbound lanes.
The Tahoe then spun on the roadway and the Ford came to a rest in a grassy ditch.
Two men, a driver and a passenger inside the Tahoe were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
The police said it was unknown if the Chevrolet was attempting to make a U-turn or if the driver had lost control of the vehicle when it was struck.
The driver of the Ford did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released.
The names of the deceased were not immediately disclosed.
No further details regarding the collision were provided.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
