Lubbock County, TX – Two people were seriously injured following a two-vehicle head-on collision on FM 179 in Shallowater Friday afternoon, according to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office
The sheriff’s office said the accident was reported around 3:04 p.m. on March 14 in the 4600 block of FM 1729 at N County Road 1700
Deputies from LSO, along with personnel from the Shallowater Fire Department, the Carlisle Fire Department, and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to the scene and found two people with serious, but non-life-threatening.
Authorities said one patient was transported to University Medical Center while the second patient was taken to Covenant Medical.
DPS is investigating the accident to determine the cause.
