Another vehicle tried to avoid the scene but crashed into the car and hit the female passenger of the Ford Explorer

Houston, TX. – Two women died in a car accident in Houston early Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. at I-45 Gulf Freeway and Griggs, according to the police.
Two vehicles reportedly crashed on the freeway, with a woman’s car coming to rest facing the wrong direction.
Two women in a Ford Explorer stopped to help the woman and the female passenger got out of the SUV.
Another vehicle tried to avoid the scene but crashed into the car and hit the female passenger of the Ford Explorer.
Both women were killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
