Houston, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle traffic collision that left one person dead and another injured on Greens Road Tuesday morning.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division said a 49-year-old man was driving a silver Honda Civic eastbound on Greens Road at the above address in the westbound lanes when he collided head-on with a red Dodge Challenger.
Houston Police Investigating Fatal Greens Road Accident;1 Man Killed, Another Injured
The driver of the Civic sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics, as per the HPD
The driver of the Challenger, identified only as a 32-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The name of the deceased was withheld pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
