Both drivers were taken to an area hospital, where the second driver later died

Harris County, TX. – One person was killed in a collision involving a wrong-way driver early Saturday morning in Harris County.
According to the police, the accident happened on Hardy Toll Road near the Sam Houston Tollway at around 5:16 a.m.
A 26-year-old woman was driving a vehicle the wrong way when she collided with a second vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to an area hospital, where the second driver later died.
The woman was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The collision resulted in the closure of the main lanes of Hardy Toll Road as the scene was cleared.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
