A 23-year-old male passenger of the Nissan was ejected and was pronounced dead at the accident scene

San Antonio, TX. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in San Antonio.
According to San Antonio police, the fatal collision happened around 12:38 a.m. at the intersection of West Travis and Northwest 24th streets.
A Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on Travis Street when the driver disregarded a stop sign and collided with a Nissan Sentra traveling south on 24th Street.
A 23-year-old male passenger of the Nissan was ejected and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The drivers of both vehicles fled the scene on foot, but the 27-year-old man driving the Chevrolet was apprehended a few blocks away from the scene. He reportedly showed signs of intoxication and was arrested.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
